Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of more animals than I can count for over ten years. I have cared for and loved dogs, cats, horses, owls, foxes, snakes, and even alligators! I have worked as both an animal/wildlife caretaker and trainer as well as a wildlife rehabilitator. This means that I know the gentlest methods for working with even the most particular animals! I love to train animals and have even trained my cat to go camping and on hikes. I have cared for a variety of species in various ages from newborn squirrels to senior dogs and cats. I have always been someone that family and friends call for advice on their pets.

Emma is the best pet-sitter you could ask for! She is highly skilled working with all animals and will definitely get along with any cat, dog, hamster, fish...you name it! Several of my pets have had the honor of being cared for by her, and I can sincerely say that I wouldn't trust anyone with my sweet babies more than her. Be assured that she will care for your pets like they are her own children.
I had a great experience with Emma when she watched my 2 Huskies for a week. She was communicative, respectful, and had clearly bonded with the doggos when I got back from my trip. Will definitely be reaching out to her for future doggo help needs(:

I have a big open floor plan with lots of windows for pets to look out. I have a sweet cat that does well with others. I have access to trails and fields just minutes from my home that I love to bring pets to (as long as they are ready for it).

A typical day
I love to provide mental and physical enrichment for the dogs I watch. Whether this means hiding treats for them to sniff out, trying out new (and safe) smells, tastes, and sights. I love to take dogs on hikes where they get to unleash all their energy while experiencing a new place! For the low energy dogs, a nice sunny park or a walk by the river is always a great time as well.

I am on the off season from my job, which means I have all the time in the world to love on your pets! I like to go on hikes often, which helps with high energy pets!
