First the good- Emma was very flexible, we dropped our dog off at 5:30am as we were catching an early flight, which was very nice. A lot of people would probably not have been up for that. However, things were not quite "as advertised"- she stated in her profile there was "one dog, no other pets" in the house, so we were surprised when we arrived to find no dog, and 3 ferrets (one was free-range when we arrived). She stated there was a back yard, which we did not get a chance to see, but her apartment was on the second floor and I suspect our dog was not taken out at the stated 0-2 hour intervals. The sitter told us our dog had 3 accidents in the house when our dog is house trained and makes it through our typical 8-10 hour workday without accidents. We had explained her typical potty schedule. When we arrived to pick her up at the end of her stay, it was 11am. Emma was in her pajamas and our dog peed and pooped within seconds of coming out the door- I suspect she had not been taken out yet that day. She did lose our dog's nametag, which she offered to replace, but she did not mention or offer to replace the gentle leader harness she must not have been using correctly because it was chewed through. In the end, our dog was alive when we picked her up, and we were very happy to see her.
