Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and finally adopted my own dog in July 2020. I have a lot of experience around rescue dogs and their needs (especially anxieties) and how to support them. With my own dog, I’ve helped her go from being scared of the city to being a confident pup. People always comment on how well trained my dog is (and I adopted her when she was a puppy). With my former roommate, I rescued a stray cat that had followed me home 2 days in a row. I absolutely adore cats and love spending time with them.

Emma was amazing!
Emma was AMAZING!! I needed someone last minute and she took amazing care of Ned, sent photos regularly, and was an excellent communicator. And the house was spotless when I got back home! Couldn’t recommend her more highly.
Emma has been an absolute lifesaver and is the perfect sitter for our new puppy, Hubble. Emma went out of her way to make herself available in the middle of the day during our first week back at work and it has made all the difference. She is communicative, punctual, and extremely kind. I have nothing but nice things to say about Emma. I know Hubble absolutely loves his new friend!
Emma is the best!! She was so great with Sadie, brought her treats, walked her, gave her enrichment games to play when it was raining, and loved her like her own! Emma sends so many updates and takes the best pictures! A week after Emma watched said we saw her on the street and Sadie was sooo excited so I know she loves her. We seriously lucked out picking Emma and I would suggests her to anyone that needs help with their dog!

I will always make sure the animal has enough food and water and that I’m always supervising them when they’re playing with toys or enjoying treats. I’m happy to send picture/video updates to you while I’m taking care of your pet! Before leaving, I’ll make sure that the animal had no hazards around (ie: chews, garbage etc) so that we can both feel comfortable leaving the animal alone.

I’d love to know if there’s anything you’re working on (training), if they like greeting/be greeted by others dogs on walks, if they have any unusual quirks, if they’ve ever had aggressive behaviour and if so how you’d like me to respond to that situation.
A typical day
I love walking dogs through Prospect Park! There’s so much open space and it’s great for dogs to feel safe since there aren’t as many noisy city sounds.

Availability
I’m currently working from home but am lucky that I make my own hours so I’m able to take time out of my day to check in on animals and go for walks with them. I’ll sometimes be able to do last minute but would prefer at least 24 hours notice.
