I am an experienced animal lover, who has had pets my whole life. In fact, when I was growing up people joked that our house was a petting zoo, as we never had less than 5 pets at any given time. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, fish, and frogs in my home. As you might expect, I am a total animal lover. Currently I am a dog mom to a sweetie pie golden retriever named Finn, and regularly help my parents care for their dogs and cats. I have pet sat for friends and family since college. I have raised puppies, cared for adult dogs, and loved our senior pets through their final moments-- and love every stage in an animals life. I know how pets become part of the family, and promise to treat yours as such. I currently stay at home, so I am very flexible when it comes to your pets' schedule, and will be around them pretty much all the time except to run errands. Therefore when it comes to your pets schedule, I can accommodate it all! During the week we have a normal routine of regular potty and play time, and on the weekends we love to go the the nearby parks and bring our dog Finn on a hike-- we would be happy to bring your pup along with if they like hikes! We have a fenced in yard, so if your dog likes to wander and sniff and run this is the place for them:) We also allow animals on the couch/bed, so if they are more interested in napping and cuddling we are all about that too! I believe that when pets come to a new home, it helps them to have their normal schedule kept so that there is less change and less to stress about, so I always plan to keep to their normal schedule as best as I can. Generally, it is important to me to care for your pet how you care for your pet! Safety, happiness, and appropriate exercise for your pet are my top priorities.
