Here for our furry friends :)

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Emma, and I am what you call a dog enthusiast! I have been on Rover for a year and a half and there is nothing I love more than being able to spend time with your furry friend and making sure that they’re well taken care of and well exercised! I have background in basic dog training such as polite walking skills, leash aggression, and basic behavioral training. I love working with dogs and watching their progress as we work together. To me there is nothing more rewarding. I understand the importance of fully engaging and walking dogs, as it’s their favorite part of everyday! I know life gets busy and we don’t always have the time but that’s what I’m here for! I will connect with your dog and love them as if they are my own. One of my favorite things to work on is puppy training and that is a field of training I have the most experience in. Puppy training is super important because it is the molding of good behavior in a dog. I am also very experienced in potty training and have helped many clients have a happier home now that they aren’t constantly cleaning up after their pupper! I have had dogs all my life and have been not only a dog enthusiast but and all around animal enthusiast my whole life. I am a well trusted and reliable person and I can promise to always give your pet 100%!

Emma is very responsible and our dog loved her from the moment he met her. She responds to requests very quickly and has a lot of availability at short notice. She is an experienced trainer, so will be helping break some bad habits as well:) I recommend Emma.

Thank you so much for your attention to Isabelle. Wilson does eat Isabelle’s food. I should have warned you. Thanks again

I am also a very patient person and understand that dogs take time to learn new skills. I understand that dogs confidence is directly correlated to how you treat them. Information Emma M. would like to know about your pet

It is important that I know how your pet behaves with other animals, as well as any traumatic pasts your pet may have endured so I can be 100% knowledgeable about what to stay away from with your pet. All animals have different personalities and react different to certain scenarios, so with that being said knowing your dogs personality is going to guarantee the safety of your pet as well as getting the most from our training sessions. I also would like to know what vet your animal attends as well as any food or allergies your pet could have. Lastly it is important I know how to dog is going to react to me. It is important I know how your dog is with meeting new people so I can know how to approach your dog as well as build a bound with him or her .:)

A typical day

A typical day of dog walking for me includes, boosting confidence of your pupper, basic leash training, and high intensity walks to make sure your dog is fully exercised, and of course lots of love and positive reinforcement! I am located in Stonington CT and have lot of trails that I will take your dog too. I do charge and extra fee for travel and that varies depending on your location! I find a lot of dogs benefit from this extra service and it is awesome for your dog to get out and experience new things and new smells! If I am boarding/ watching your dog. I make sure to give them lots of love and company and make them feel as comfortable as I can. Lots of dogs have separation anxiety and I do my best to make it less stressful for your dog! Also to give you a piece of mind while gone. I always make sure to take lots of pictures and keep you updated on how your dog is doing. I know when I go away I always want to know how my pets are doing!
