I have had my own pets and have been pet-sitting since my early teens. Neighbors and friends often call me up to have me pet-sit or give their dog a walk during the workday. I have a lab mix and we also sometimes take in foster dogs. I volunteer with Lucky Dog as a handler during their adoption events. In addition to caring for dogs in my free time, I have also studied animal behavior in school. I would be happy to work with any current training plan you have, or just spend some playtime with your pup. I was vaccinated in March and always wear a mask around other people.

I was so lucky Emma was available to walk my Shiba Inu on short notice during the holidays. She did a good job and sent lots of pictures on the walk.
Emma has lovingly cared for our dog for over two years. Emma is patient and gentle with her, and has great instincts about how to handle her. Emma has taken time to train the dog, including teaching her to stay, then Emma walks away, and then releases the dog to come to her on command, which is a very hard skill to train. If the dog seems out of sorts, Emma will take a close look at what may be bothering her, including examining her paws, her ears, her belly, etc. Emma takes the dog on lovely walks, and does not take short cuts when the dog wants to keep going. Emma has also fostered several dogs, and is always kind and caring to those dogs as well. I would recommend Emma unequivocally to walk your dog!
Emma is excellent! My pup is an extremely timid shelter dog, but he warmed up to Emma's gentle yet confident handling quickly. In addition to being very knowledgeable about dog behavior and training, Emma is also a reliable person and good communicator. Seriously, sign up with this dog walker!

Availability
I am currently a part-time graduate student, so I have plenty of time during the day to help care for your pets. I am most available mid-day on weekdays for dog walking, and I can also do multiple daily check-ins or house sit if you are away for a longer period of time.
