Pet care experience
I have taken care of pets since I was young including chickens, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, fish, and hamsters. I also have over 10 years of experience caring for horses. I have fostered kittens and adult cats, and I have cared for puppies and adult dogs. I grew up with labs and an english setter, so all energy levels are welcome! I have cared for friends’ cats and dogs in the past during my master’s degree through covid. I know furry friends are family members and I treat all animals with the same love and care that I show my own furry loves!

We had a great experience with Emma. Emma came for a meet and greet - immediately she and Sadie, our 85 lb Great Pyrenees, were buddies. Emma is gentle, kind and with a demeanor that made all of us feel quite comfortable. Sadie hadn't been without one of us since she came to us as a stray in October, so we weren't sure how this would go. When we got home Sadie was calm and content. We are thrilled to have found Emma!
Emma did a great job with our pets. She checked in either me and took great care of our dogs. She even kept our place clean. So much appreciated her!! Thanks Emma!!
Emma is an exceptional pet lover. She has successfully cared for her pets since she was a young girl. This includes cats, dogs, and horses. She is dedicated to their well being. I can think of no one who lives animals more or is so compassionate in her care.

I know ease of mind is essential when away from your pets, and I follow all instructions to a T! I also love photography, so if a per parent enjoys photo updates, I am more than happy to provide as many photos as they would like of their pets.

A typical day
Depending on the dog’s condition, we can go for walks or visit safe dog parks. We can play fetch, play with their favorite toy (if able to bring along), or simply sit and enjoy fresh air. We can walk along safe routes in parks, weather permitting, or along some of the pet’s favorite places.

Availability
I have a full time position in Natural Resource Conservation, but work from home, so I am able to set my schedule each week. I am available most days in the mornings and afternoons. I am also available most nights for care!
