Pet care experience
A genuine love of spending time with all animals to help them live each day as though it were their best! I have many years experience with dogs of all sizes, puppies and golden oldies. Cats get a lot of love from me too on home visits, as do hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs and birds. I love chatting with them and filling them in with all the latest news and gossip of the day. Regular doggy customers receive a birthday cupcake treat! As part of my green footprint and responsibility to caring for the environment, for every 5 miles travelled by vehicle for work purposes, I pledge to donate £1 to the Community Forest Trust. More trees means more sniffing posts and happy dogs!

Emma was a star, making us feel confident with our boy from the start, nothing was too much trouble and was very calm/patient with him. great experience for Chewie with her 2 other dogs and he had so much fun and play all day. Emma was friendly and professional and you can tell that she loves animals. Emma popped in to feed the cats while we were away for the night. I felt at ease leaving them. I will definitely rebook when we go away again.

I can highly recomend Emma at Hills and Tails! She has a very strong love of dogs which is quit evident and she has always turned up on time. Our dogs are always so excited when she turns up to collect them and they sleep for hours when they get back! I have recommended her to many of my dog owning friends.

I get to know each dog (and their human) to learn about their needs and expectations and to build a strong rapport with both of them. Dogs are only allowed off lead, in a safe environment away from livestock and traffic strictly when given permission to do so. I have a clean DBS check and any keys given to me are kept safe and no details about the property are shared with others. I am fully insured and Pet First Aid accredited and carry a pet first aid kit in my vehicle at all times.

A typical day
Being blessed with the beautiful Saddleworth countryside, we travel through hills and valleys, fields and lanes in all weather. We can take it slow and easy for the dogs who are older or prefer to stop and sniff everything on their walk, or we can move up to life in the fast lane for more active dogs who love their zoomies! Lots of toys and games for mental stimulation and endless belly rubs on tap.

Availability
A full time job! Whether it is a daily dog walk or a home visit to feed, cuddle and play with your pet. Little furry friends, birds and even house plants can be tended to on a home visit. Weekends and evening visits by appointment when necessary.
