Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats all my life. I have a 6-year old 85lb Golden-Pyrenees mix and have more recently been surrounded by larger dogs. I grew up with a Pomeranian and an Icelandic Sheepdog and also still have a family Pomski, so I definitely know my way around smaller dogs too. I regularly care for my friends and families dogs, but my love for animals does not stop there!

Emma was so responsive, kind and good to our kitty, Pepper! She went above and beyond when Pepper got sick, and we were super grateful. I felt really safe leaving Pepper with her and will totally use Emma again. Everyone should reach out to her!

When I leave my dog, I feel a void. While I could never live up to you as their owner, I want them to feel as comfortable as possible and as if a random stranger isn't watching them. Thus, however you care for your pet is what I plan to give to them while you are gone!

Ahead of time, I like to know what the animals typical day is like so I can best mirror this. If we are going to be leaving the home environment and going on walks, it is helpful to know how they are with other animals, people and children, if there is anything or any place in the area they prefer to go or that we should avoid, etc.
A typical day
The day will be entirely tailored to your animal's preferences and energy level. I enjoy going for short and long walks, to the park, a creek, playing with toys at home, or snuggling.

Availability
I am a mental health therapist, so my schedule changes on a weekly basis, however, is more heavy in the afternoons/evenings. Since my schedule is ever changing, I can only accommodate re-occurring drop ins or walks on Mondays after 11am, Tuesdays before 2pm and Wednesdays between 930am and 230pm, I cannot accommodate re-occurring requests Thursday - Sunday. I am at my office for 10 hours on Thursdays and anywhere from 4-8 hours Tuesday and Friday and thus am not a good house sitting fit for pets during the week that require 24/7 care or are on a strict mealtime regiment (I usually work until 7pm). Please note I am a huge planner and already have sittings booked through December 2024. It is very unlikely I will be able to accommodate a house sitting request in the same month it is requested.
