Pet care experience
as a pet sitter since i was a teen, becoming a pet parent was a big deal for me. over the years i’ve adopted 2 standard poodles, a german shepherd, an american shorthair tuxedo cat and an american shorthair mix cat. all of my own furry family have crossed the rainbow bridge. loads more beautiful beasties of all sizes— from a mastiff mix to a yorkie—take up space in my heart. i make furry friends everywhere i go— from alaska, colorado, oregon, nevada, china, and now florida. these days i love to stop and say hello to the neighbor pets. i previously worked at a birddog kennel with 20+ dogs training, feeding, kennel cleaning, play and obedience with brittanys and german shorthaired pointers.

My experience with Emma as a pet sitter has been nothing but positive. She has watched my two large (over 80lbs) dogs from just an over night to up to a week. Emma is responsible and reliable. I would recommend her to anyone.
Emma has taken care of my dogs at times when I could not do so. My dogs love Emma. She has taken them for various walks and has always been very good with them. They were always under her control and kept safe, and as I said, they love her. I would recommend Emma anytime as a dog sitter.
Emma is the oldest of my 4 children. When their father died very suddenly in 2009, Emma moved back home to help her younger siblings deal with grief. Emma suggested that a puppy might help. We researched what breed would be a good fit and bought Zeus and Odin, our 65 pound standard poodle brothers. Emma is their mom! She is a natural with animals and always puts their needs first. Currently animals out number people in our home and Emma is their favorite. She is like Dr. Dolittle!
Emma is an amazing person! She is loving, giving, kind and loyal. Not only are these traits that Emma exudes towards people, but especially with dogs. I have watched Emma love and care for her dogs for years and am inspired by her devotion to them. She makes sure they get lots of hugs and kisses, takes them outside a number of times a day, keeps them clean and, of course, feeds them. I don't have a dog of my own right now, but I can say, without hesitation, that if I did, I would trust Emma 100%, to care for my dog.

i’m currently the caregiver for my mom who has had an amputation and my brother with a traumatic brain injury so i cannot be away from home overnight. but i have loads of flexibility during the day and evening.
