Full time dog lover
Pet care experience
I am going into my first year of veterinary school and I love dogs. I work part time at a veterinary clinic, which has given me lots of experiences with handling dogs of all shapes and sizes. Working at a vet clinic also allowed me to learn how to give medications to dogs, so I can work with dogs who have special needs. I have experience training dogs, so I am happy to accommodate any special walking or training instructions owners may have. I have my own dog, so I understand owner's connections to their dogs and I will give them the absolute best care that I can provide. I have my own car, and could transport dogs to hikes or other activities. I also am willing to take dogs for baths for an additional charge. Check my calendar for my availability!

I needed someone special as I have 2 Rottweilers and an Aussie and finding someone that is comfortable with big dogs is not easy. I rarely leave my dogs and I was nervous. Emma is sweet, easy to work with and my dogs loved her. Her background is ideal and her love for dogs is authentic. I can tell my dogs were happy as I saw no distress in them as nothing was destroyed(they can sometimes be naughty). I was so thrilled to see they did great with Emma. Plus, my house and yard were still cleaned. Excellent touch. Emma is a rare find in a dog sitter!!!!
Emma was great!! She was very flexible and easy to work with and Maren loved her! I will be using her again!
Emma is an extraordinary person. I say this not just because I’ve known her and her family for her whole life, but because I’ve been her high school pastor, her counselor, and friend. Most recently I’ve been able to oversee her as she’s served on our high school team, post-graduation, as a college student. Emma has always loved and taken care of animals. She’s had numerous long-term pets; including rabbits, gerbils, degus, chickens and dogs. Emma is presently studying to become a veterinarian at OSU. My own dog seems to be having a few respiratory issues this spring. I talked with Emma about her and got solid help from her as well as encouragement to take my dog to see our vet if she’s not better soon. I think Emma would be an outstanding candidate for your company, if she is hired and given responsibilities. If you’d like more information feel free to contact me. Sincerely, Pastor/teacher, Kathleen Gilbert Eugene, Oregon
I've known Emma since birth. She has been an animal lover as long as I can remember. She has grown up with dogs, chickens, rabbits, gerbils and more. She currently is at OSU in pre-veterinary training and is applying for vet schools this spring. She worked at a veterinary emergency hospital last summer with great success. I have no doubt she will be an outstanding dog walker.
