Aspiring vet looking for animals to care for
Pet care experience
Since childhood, Ive taken care of my neighbours or friends animals when they were on holiday (mostly rabbits). My aunt had a retired greyhound for 2 years with who I regularly walked and I took care of when they were away. Because of my career aspirations as a vet, since the age of 14, I have undertaken a lot of work experience at veterinary practises and animal shelteres, where I had to care for a range of animals, but especially dogs and cats. I also have many years of experience in childcare. We were never allowed to have cats or dogs at home, but I have 4 tortoises that are very close to my heart.
Reviews
Emma has looked after our 4 year old rescue greyhound on several occasions. She has done both day sitting and also moved in to pet sit for a whole weekend. I would not hesitate to recommend her. She is very conscientious and great at keeping us in the loop about how our dog was and at checking about things if she wasn't sure, which I appreciated as we hadn't had him very long, so were nervous about leaving him. Emma is planning to train as a vet and so has a great affinity and patience with all types of animals. If you need to leave your pet then Emma is a great solution.

I am retaking chemistry A level at the moment (to meet the requirements to study veterinary medicine) so a dog walk or cat cuddle is a very welcome distraction
