It's true, I probably have more energy than your dog. I am an enthusiastic person who will always make taking care of your pet not only a great experience for them, but you too! It's important to me to make you feel comfortable and happy with the care you ask of me. I love playing and having fun with animals, but I am also very cautious. I will always be honest with you and am reliably communicative. I’ve had two years of Rover experience in NYC. I have just returned to the city after being away for about two years. Before living in the city, I used to volunteer at an animal shelter as someone who takes the dogs out to play and walk. There were all kinds of dogs I interacted with; some very elderly or sick, some extremely shy, some aggressive, and some regular ol' goofballs. From that experience, I noticed that I have a really good sense of how dogs are feeling and can change my demeanor accordingly. A little more about me: I grew up on a bird farm! My family has had three dogs throughout my life as well as cats, ducks, chickens, turkeys, and quails. Our three dogs have been a lab/ retriever mix, a husky, and a pit bull. I am truly equipped to handle any size dog. With Rover, I’ve had experiences with all kinds - even puppies and dogs who need specific training.
