Pet care experience
I have had a dog in my family for half of my life and recently got a puppy last spring with my partner!! I love going on walks, myself, so I’d LOVE to have a partner with me so we can both get our steps in for the day! :) I have gone to training classes with both my dogs and have experience with obedience procedures. I have dog sat for my neighbor’s medium sized dog multiple times- visiting multiple times a day and going on walks/feeding. I have one dog who is as friendly as ever and one who is not a fan of other dogs. I understand that many puppies and dogs are still leaning to interact and cannot sniff others without permission :)

I have a very large heart for animals and treat them all with love and respect. On walks I will allow a sniff, but keep us on track and out of mud and bushes. I prefer to walk dogs on a non-retractable leash to have better control-especially before knowing the dog well.

I think it's really great for dogs to be able to sniff lots of new scents and get mental exercise in as well as physical!

Availability
I am a graduate student at UW Madison and have a sporadic schedule during the week. I am available all day on the weekends and throughout the whole afternoon on Mondays (after 11am).
