Pet care experience
I've had at least one dog at home my entire life and cared for two at a time for six years. Friends, family members, neighbors, as well as Rover clients have counted on me to walk, feed, bathe, and socialize their pets in the past so I also have a background taking care of dogs and cats that aren't my own. I am particularly experienced in caring for senior dogs and can help with medication management, mental/physical exercise, grooming, etc.

I had an opportunity to fly out to Hawaii for 10 days and had no idea what I was going to do about my 4 legged daughter, my puppy Daisy. Emma was absolutely the answer to all my problems. She was able to provide the necessary peace of mind knowing that my dog was in good hands! I would most definitely recommend Emma to others and I will be sure to use her services again and again.
Emma is so sweet. Always responded on short notice and was so accommodating. Even if this cold weather she was so willing to walk my dog cerbius. He adores her! She was very kind to both me and my boyfriend and when I wasn’t around to initate the walks, she communicated with my boyfriend, he agrees she’s super friendly and we will be using her for our weekly walks if she’s available and even if she can sit. I am available to care for your pets at your home and will be sure to get necessary information about food, allergies, medication, playtime, crate-training, walks, temperament, etc. I am always sure to check fence gates before letting dogs outside, keeping the door locked, and making sure there is no food/trash around for pets to pick at.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behavioral tendencies I should know about. I know every animal is different so I just want to be sure I adjust to their comfort level. Also be sure to tell me about any allergies, medical conditions, and medications if necessary. I am very comfortable working with senior dogs and can do medication management as well as light exercise for dogs with arthritis.
A typical day
I always make sure pets are mentally and physically stimulated by using chew toys, treat-finding games, peanut butter floor mats, and walks. I also am more than happy to take dogs to the park to give them a chance to run and socialize.

Availability
I walk my own dog at least once a day but have help at home if my schedule is busy with other pups! I am currently working in the city from 8 to 5 pm Monday-Friday but am available to sit overnight, do evening drop-in visits, and any weekend sitting.
