Pet care experience
Hi there! Along with having my own pets for the past eight years, I have worked caring for animals at a cat boarding facility, a farm animal rehabilitation sanctuary, and a Baltimore County park nature center. I am experienced in all aspects of animal care, including feeding, grooming, socializing, cleaning, and administering medication when necessary.

First time hiring Emma and am happy that I did. She cared for my numerous kitties over several weeks. It was hard to be away, but I was reassured when I saw how well she took care of them. Emma also problem-solved any issues, asked questions when she wasn’t sure, and let me know if anything seemed unusual. Would definitely consider hiring her again!
As always, Emma did a fabulous job with all my critters! We were away for three weeks and we knew that our pets were in good hands!

I do have some experience giving medication to animals, so please let me know if your pet needs to take any meds and I will let you know if I am equipped to administer it. I would love to know if your dog or cat has any quirks that are normal for them, or that I should look out for. Finally, please tell me a bit about your pet’s personality, so that I can get a sense of how best to engage them!
A typical day
I have a lot of lovely parks in my area where I love to walk, and I know of some quieter spots as well as ones that are often bustling with other dogs! I usually get to know each individual dog or cat to figure out what they are comfortable with, and whether they are happiest spending time doing high-energy activities (playing), or something more laid back (sitting on the couch with lots of pets).
