Pet care experience
My name is Emma and I have years of experience with animals. Starting from when I was born, taking care of animals was a right of passage for me - a way for me to learn how to be responsible. My parents adopted a cat a few years prior to when I was born, and that's how my love for animals and caring for them grew. I learned how to clean, care and feed my cat. We got a dog when I was 14, and with that I learn how to care for dogs as well, Not only that but I learned how to care for other pets as well such as hamsters, fish, snakes, turtles and more. I also volunteered at a no kill cat shelter where I cared, cleaned, fed and played with cats; I made sure they were adopted. A fun fact is that I am also a big animal rights advocate. I have been a vegan for several years and believe in kind treatment to all animals, not just ones that are domesticated.

Emma took great care of my dog. She stayed at our house and took Lucie for extra walks. She also was conscientious and checked in with my husband and I and even sent us pictures. I would not hesitate to recommend her.
Emma was great with our puppy Shasta and sent us lots of pics throughout the evening. I think Shasta likes her more than she likes us!! ?
Emma was wonderful! She always sent pics and notes and I knew my kitties were in good hands. Highly recommend her.
Emma was punctual, professional, and very affectionate towards our dog who felt comfortable with her right away. She kept us updated with photos and took great care of the home. Highly recommend.

I would like to know your dog or cats energy level or temperament. Unfortunately, I can only take care of big dogs if they are properly trained and not aggressive. I am 5'2 and petite so if your big dog is not properly trained it will be a liability to me, you, and your dog.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on hiking trails. I also love going to the grocery store and buying them doggie ice cream as a treat :) I'm also a big advocate for cuddle time!!

Availability
I work part time at a movie theater, but usually in the evenings. I have ample room in my schedule, especially for drop ins during the day.
