If you're looking for a great caretaker for your cat and dog friends, you've found one! Having cared for and had a variety of pets my whole life, I feel confident that I will be able to help you and your beloved pet. I've cared for rodents, birds, fish, cats, dogs of all ages and states of health. I am very Covid-Safety Compliant and happy to meet you at your comfort level around that. My goal is to help your pet friends and you live happy, worry-free lives. Aside from general pet care, here are some specific areas in which I have experience: -walking up to 3 dogs at once -administering oral & topical medications according to instructions -basic obediance training commands -coping with leash-reactive dogs -engaging pets in play

We had never had a dog sitter before, and were beyond thrilled with the care Emma gave our dogs and our home. We have an anxious Bernese mountain dog who we had recently adopted and we weren't sure how he would do. He loved Emma right away. She even taught him new tricks, and helped to ease his (and our!) anxiety. We also have a little Maltese mix who Emma did great with as well. She walked the two of them together without any problems multiple times per day. Each time she came to our home, she sent us pictures and a text about how and what they were doing. She gave us training tips and worked with and loved on our dogs like we would have. Not only that, she watered plants, pulled trash cans in and out, brought packages in and made our house look well taken care of while we were away. Our neighbors were impressed with her as well. We highly recommend Emma and know that we will contact her again next time we go out of town.
Emma was amazing and took such great care of my sweet old kitty. Will definitely ask her to help us again with any future pet care needs.
Emma is a wonderful pet sitter. We booked her for drop in visits with our 2 cats. She took the time to do a thorough meet and greet as well as a walk through prior to our trip. She gave us daily reports (and photos!) of the visits which gave us some peace of mind that they were in good hands. We’d definitely recommend her services and would happily rebook with Emma.
Emma is so great with my dog! He always seems so happy when she walks him! Emma is a great communicator and is always on time!

In your home, I am happy to follow your desired guidelines for your pet's care. A drop-in lasts 30 minutes (additional time can be added for a fee). On these visits, I will supervise your friend while they take a bathroom break, love on them, feed them if needed, administer medications, and play with them to brighten their day. Walks also last about 30 minutes. On walks, your pet and I will take a 30-minute walk around your neighborhood. I like to build bonds and trust with animal friends by doing simple treat training (giving them treats when they respond to their name) as we walk. I can use the treats I will bring or the preferred variety that you provide. I prefer to use the leash and any other walking equipment (harness, etc.) that you normally use so your pet will be familiar with it.

A typical day
On dog walks, I like to take routes familiar to the dog(s) so that they feel comfortable. I've heard that I'm pretty good at games of fetch and tug-of-war. My cat tries to act like he doesn't like toys, but I can get him interested chasing flashlights and strings so you cat may like that, too.

During the week, I'm available for early morning, late afternoon, and evening drop-ins and walks. I have more flexibility on weekends and am willing to work with you to find a way to help.
