As a previous zookeeper, I have a lot of experience working with a variety of animals, and no behavioural issue is too scary for me! I've trained emus, so four legged fur-babies are a breeze. I have also owned two dogs growing up, a border-collie/lab mix, and a flat-coated retriever, so large dogs with drive are no issue. Dogs tend to love me, since I always make every encounter a fun and exciting one! I will always be professional, while still being a 'best human friend' to your pup. I do work full time (8-5), but can do walks in the evening, or even early in the morning if you can't. The personality of an animal is key to understanding what they can handle, what they enjoy and what they need, and I'm a pretty good reader of dog personalities. Weekends are no issue for me, and I would love to take your friend for a hike! I love to be active, and therefore would love to have your dog as company! I currently do not have any pets, as I just moved to Ottawa, but am expecting a puppy in mid-March (miniature australian shepherd).
