Hello! We are a dog loving couple based in Sherburn in Elmet. We have many years of experience having both grown up with a range of different breeds of dogs, including retrievers, spaniels, German shepherds, terriers and mongrels. We regularly take care of our family and friends’ dogs, with experience of large and small, outgoing and nervous dogs. We love walking and exploring our local area as well as further afield in Yorkshire’s National Parks. Poppy had a brilliant time with Emma and Dan, they even took her on a day out to the beach! We received photo updates which was nice, and I was able to fully enjoy my holiday knowing our dog was well taken care of. I would definitely book with them again and recommend them to others.

Emma and Dan have looked after Bella for nearly 4 years, since she was a pup. Both in their own home and in mine - in fact, Bella appears in a few of their profile pictures! She's a large dog and quite anxious so it's important for me to have someone to rely on who knows her well. I do use a very good kennels when Emma and Dan aren't available but Bella is far more settled with them and I don't have to go through the upset of the separation anxiety she displays when I leave her at the kennels.

We have a safe fenced garden with a locked gate so the pup can roam freely around the garden. Our local area has lots of dog friendly parks, the closest one being only a two minute walk from our house.

A typical day
In a typical day I can dog walk in the morning before work, on my lunch break and after finishing work in the evening. I like to explore the local area which has a few different parks, a nature reserve, and lots of nice fields and open space. I like to play fetch and do training of basic commands. I enjoy jogging and would be happy for a dog to join me! On the weekends I like to go for longer walks, exploring Yorkshire and the nearby National Parks.

Availability
We work full time but have flexible working from home jobs meaning we have plenty of time for walking and playing. We also have frequent weekend availability.
