Pet care experience
Hi - My name is Emma, and I absolutely love animals! I go to college in New York City, but I’m living in Atlanta for the next few months while all of this craziness plays out. I grew up with two of the sweetest Golden Retrievers, and my mom currently has a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is extremely needy yet totally adorable. I’ve also grown up around a lot of cats— that is where I’ve learned most of my pet-caring skills. When I was in high school I volunteered at my local animal shelter— helping walk, feed, and socialize the cats and dogs. Also, my aunt and uncle own two Weimaraners, who I was lucky enough to dog-sit for a whole week last summer. I’m also a dog walker with Wag, which has been an extremely positive experience so far. I have a ton of flexibility every day of the week and on weekends because of online classes. Nothing makes me happier than giving a happy pup a surprise visit while their mom/dad is out of the house, so I can’t wait to spend time with yours and give them all the love and attention they deserve.

Emma loves animals. You would know this if you spent time looking at the pictures in her phone or asked her friends and family what she is passionate about. She is responsible, attentive, meticulous at following directions, not afraid to ask questions if she needs clarification, and above all, respectful of others’s property, space, and loved ones. She would be someone you could count on in a pinch and able to roll with the punches and think and act logically and pragmatically to solve a problem on the fly. I am confident that you will return to her for follow up visits after her inaugural visit.

I would like to know how they do around other dogs. Can I take them to a dog park, or should I avoid dog parks? Are they allowed to eat treats? Do I need to feed them/give them water after the walk and if so, how much do I give them? I don't have any bread preferences. I've walked an endless amount of different breeds, and I've never needed to complain.
A typical day
I always wear athletic wear when I take a dog on a walk in case they are very active and energetic and like to run. I will take dogs on walks in the areas around the owner's home, or if the owner prefers I take their pet to a park, I will absolutely do that. I will never take a dog to a park/around other dogs without the owner's permission. I love playing fetch, and could throw a ball for hours.
