Pet care experience
Hi there! We’re Emma and Emily, a queer couple who love animals and have extensive pet care experience! We spent last year full-time house and pet-sitting in seven different states all across the U.S., caring for dogs, cats, birds, chickens, and geckos! We are attuned to the needs of the animals we are caring for, and we are very comfortable walking, feeding, administering medication, and generally showering with affection a variety of different pets. We both have pet sat for friends and strangers alike, and both find spending time with animals to be peaceful and restorative. We would love to help you out with your own sweet fur babies!

Emma and Emily did a fantastic job walking our dog Alfie while we were away. They made sure he was happy and fed, and they also checked in on and fed our cat. The pets really appreciated the care, belly rubs and playing fetch.

We keep our two cats indoors and we spoil them rotten, giving them all of the toys and treats and attention they could ever want. We would love to do the same for your pets! PLEASE NOTE: We prefer non-cigarette smoking households and would appreciate if you’d disclose that if you’d like us to stay in your home for longer periods of time :)

We always like to know your pet’s age, physical ability level, and disposition going into caring for them. We like to tailor how we engage with pets to how much exercise, attention, and special care they will need.
A typical day
We love to take pups on long, leisurely walks, trying to hit as many grassy areas as we can so that they can take their time sniffing to their heart's content! Additionally, we are fetch and tug-of-war connoisseurs with more high energy dogs, and enjoy taking dogs on runs as well!

Availability
We both work remotely and have very flexible schedules that allow for pet sitting outside our home, as well as the time and space during the day to accommodate last minute drop-bys or dog walks.
