Our dog Sherlock felt immediately comfortable with Emma. He does not warm up to everyone but seemed at ease with her even at their first introduction. Emma came across as very capable and confident with animals-like our shepherd/jack russell mix. It felt good leaving our beloved pet with her and we breathed a sigh of relief after meeting her. We could tell it would be a great fit for him (our dog). On our international trip of 10 days, we never had to worry about our pet. Occasionally Emma would send a picture of our dog, and he looked content, so we knew he was being well taken care of. Upon returning home and picking up our dog, he happily greeted me outside as Emma was walking him, and we went back to her place to get his supplies. Sherlock seemed comfortable Emma and he seemed to feel at home in her home. The next time our family travels together again, we plan to use Emma again as our dog's caretaker. It is good to know that we can make plans that may not allow for bringing our pet, and still have a secure and pleasant place for our dog. We also recommend Emma for others. You can count on her to take proper care of your best friend/pet while you are traveling.

Emma was truly "born in a barn". Her family has a 25 stall horse boarding business. For as long as I have know her, she has assisted in running the stables. Emma has house/barn sat for me many times. I have a bunch of rescue dogs and cats, some of which are high maintenance. She has always been very good with them and pays attention to details. I also have 30 + horses that I board. Emma has been able to quickly learn the details of their care, in order to barn sit for me. She is very experienced in animal care and is also very caring of my pets.
