I have grown up with pets my whole life. Being in the city, I cannot commit to having a dog or cat of my own but definitely miss taking dogs on walks and runs as well as just having snuggle time with the kitties and pups. I have experience with walking, feeding, administering medicine, devoting special care to dogs who require extra attention, and am comfortable around all dog breeds. Additionally, I have worked at an animal sanctuary in upstate New York where working around animals with disabilities or anxious behaviors was expected. I understand animal body language and how to approach with care and kindness to make them as comfortable as possible. Currently, I volunteer at the ASPCA in the city to give attention to cats and dogs who are waiting to be welcomed into someone's home. As someone who is active I would love to bring your dog to get some exercise in a park and give them the attention they need for when you are out of town or can't get out of that meeting.
