I grew up around an assortment of dog breeds. My family's first dog was a laid-back black lab. Now we have a rescued daschund who thinks he's a German Shepard that fits on a lap. Neighbors around us had Shar-Peis, Beagles, huge Golden Labs, Chow-Chows, a Labradoodle, and an English Springer Spaniel. My grandparents had Basset Hounds for decades, but now own a small Maltese. I've also pet-sitted for friends that have a Pit Bull. At the time he was less than a year old. He needed a lot of exercise, play, and supervision. We had a ball together (pun intended.) I love the outdoors, so if your dogs need long walks or runs, I've got it covered. I've also leash-trained my family's daschund, and helped with my friends' pit bull. Even that can be taught to older dogs. It's never too late to learn manners :)
