Pet care experience
My name is Emma and I am a recent grad with a degree in Animal Science. I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with two cats and a dog, and have been riding horses for years. I’ve worked in animal shelters and vet clinics, getting experience with all kinds of animal care, from giving medication to feeding neonatal kittens and training puppies with positive reinforcement. Since moving to the Bay Area, I’ve fostered kittens from a local shelter, and thought I would sign up for Rover as well! I would love to take care of your beloved pets.

Emma has an amazing gift when it comes to animals - large and small. She would be an excellent dog sitter, but she could also be a great trainer. She is patient, conscientious, and truly caring. I would trust her to care for anyone's dog as well (if not better) than its owner. She has done a great job with our Catahoula - a difficult breed to manage.
I am Emma’s sister. She has always had a love for animals, especially our dog, Louise. She loves teaching her tricks and taking her for walks. She also has her own horse, which has taught her responsibility around animals. Emma is hardworking, kind, and responsible; I would trust her with my most beloved pets!

I have an apartment on Oxford Street that allows pets. I am only a couple blocks from the park on Hearst, so I can always take your furry friend there. During a walk, I will avoid greeting unknown people and dogs, and follow any specific directions you have. I’m also happy to help with any training you’re working on!

A typical day
I will happily feed and give any medication needed. During a walk, I will let your dog sniff and explore around the area, as I believe that stimulates them mentally. I love playing tug and fetch, and will even go for a nice hike!

Availability
I work a regular, full time job at an equine vet clinic, so I set my hours specifically around that. I can walk dogs on the weekends, and am able to board and house sit on a case by case basis.
