Years of begging my parents for a puppy finally payed off 8 years ago when my family got our first family pet, my 100 pound brindle Boxer, Willie! I have been an animal lover my whole life, and in addition to caring for my own dog, I have been walking and taking care of pets around my neighborhood since I was 12 years old. I lost my dog this past year and miss having a dog in my life, so anytime I get to spend time with dogs I feel extra grateful. Big dogs are my favorite, but I love all breeds and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes. I moved from Pittsburgh to the Hershey area after graduating from Penn State in the spring of 2021 and think that Rover is a great way to gain experience caring for animals while creating a fun and comfortable environment for pets while their owner is away. I work full-time during the week, but typically my work days end between 3 and 4 and I'm completely free after that time. I'm in the area most weekends and my schedule is very flexible during those times. I can take your dog on walks, long or short, and will work with you to accommodate any other needs you and your pet may have! I am willing to come to your home to care for your pets. I live in a pet friendly neighborhood and have a roommate who loves dogs, too! My roommate is allergic to dogs, so we would only be able to host hypoallergenic dogs in our apartment for short stays. I have no allergies to dogs, so I don't have any restrictions when it comes to caring for your pet in your home. I am also available for any extra care you may need, such as bathing your pet.
