Pet care experience
I have been dog sitting for friends (including friends of friends), family members, and neighbors since I graduated high school in 2015! I walk, feed, clean up after, and of course, snuggle and play with all types of dogs. I have also stayed at pet owners homes over night and for more than one night when they go on vacation. I have stayed at pet owners homes for over a week at times, and am still willing to do so. Most of my experience is personal (pets of mine, family members, neighbors, etc.) but I have been an animal lover for my whole life and even more so over the last several years.

Emma house sat for us while we were out of town for the weekend. She made sure our two dogs were well taken care of and given good attention. Everything was communicated well and she gave us updates throughout the day. Would definitely recommend her, and we would use her again.
I have known Emma for the last 10 or more years. She is such a sweet, caring, and giving person, who has been wonderful to me, my family, and our pets. She has taken care of my cats, dogs, and fish several times, and has always been willing to help us out whenever the need arises. She is a true animal lover, who would provide safe and loving care to any animal in her charge. I was thrilled to hear she wanted to join Rover, as I think caring for animals is her calling and passion in life!
Emma has taken care of my rescue dog Violet and is very conscientious and is such an animal lover. I would highly recommend her to care for your pet!

I have a huge fenced in yard where I am currently living. I live in the country with my grandma, and she has about 2 acres of land as well as a barn with a fence around it and a fence around a small yard connected to the back porch of the house. I also have two cats and an older dog who love meeting new friends! My top priority is making sure your pet feels comfortable, is safe, and has a roof over their head! If I am staying at a clients home, I will use whatever recourses they have (yard, toys, etc.) to the absolute best of my ability! I love seeing pets have fun, it puts a smile on my face :)

Information Emma B. would like to know about your pet
It would be great if you could let me know if your dog has any special needs, or any behaviors that I should be aware of. Special needs would be things like if they have need medication, have a specific feeding schedule, or really anything I can do that would make them feel comfortable and loved. If your dog has tendencies to bite, jump, or act differently and/or aggressively towards other pets and people, this is something I would like to know ahead of time. The safety of your pet, myself, and any other pet/person around is very important to me!!
A typical day
I love going outside (especially when it's nice out!) with the dogs and throwing a ball or stick around and letting them get all of their energy out!! Depending on what location I am in, I like to walk the pups to a nearby park or even on a trail if there is one close! This of course depends on if your dog is friendly with other dogs/people, and if they are shy or nervous around others, we might just stay on the sidewalk or somewhere close to home.

Availability
I am currently going to school full time (M-TH) but will be done with school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays by 1:00pm and I will be done by 2:30pm on Thursdays. I am free on Fridays and most weekends!
