Pet care experience
Our whole family love dogs and my husband and i had dogs as kids. We are always looking after dogs for neighbours, friends and family. We have a spacious home and garden and live 5 mins from Woodbury common. For dogs who enjoy more vigorous exercise they can join me for a run.

We had no hesitation about leaving Maisie with Emma and her family, even though she hadn't been apart from us for the previous 2 years. It was obvious from the moment Maisie started counter-surfing within the first few minutes of entering their home, that she felt at home! She loved the long walks on the common and the photos that Emma sent us throughout the stay reassured us we had defininitely chosen the right holiday family/home for her. We would definitely ask Emma to have her again, next time we go away, and would recommend her wholeheartedly. Excellent communication throughout and very flexible about drop off/pick up arrangements too.

Emma and her family recently looked after our 8 month old puppy for 9 days. Our puppy was welcomed into their home and loved like their own. Our puppy had so many cuddles and Emma sent us pictures throughout which was lovely to see while we were away. I cannot recommend Emma and her family enough. Our puppy now recognises Emma whenever she sees her and will go to her for cuddles and play. So happy and pleased that Emma and family looked after our puppy and will definitely use them again.
Emma has looked after our energetic spaniel a number of times at her house, and she is always so happy to go there. Emma is fantastic at taking her on wonderful long walks, sending us updates, providing stimulation and love at home, and our dog comes back always seeming so calm, content and well exercised. I would thoroughly recommend Emma.

We will follow your rules so you feel comfortable. We will keep our gate closed but if you ask us to keep them on the lead then we will. We are happy for pets to move freely downstairs but prefer to keep them away from carpets upstairs.

Let me know if they need long active walks. Let me know if they’re okay off lead and have good enough recall. It’s good to know if they like to eat before or after walks and if they have any preference about toileting (e.g need to be off lead). Also handy to know if they are fond of chewing miscellaneous items and we can ensure we proof the house :)
A typical day
I wake early and can give your pet attention and cuddles. We can have morning and afternoon walks in a range of spacious locations. We have a field at the back of our house so can throw balls if your dog needs midday activity as well.

At least one of us is at home in the week, except for Thursdays which are variable. We can board at home throughout the week.
