Responsible animal caregiver!
Pet care experience
Responsible young adult available anytime after 9 AM any day of the week! Please make your requests at least 24 hours in advance so I have time to plan! I’ve been using Rover for about a 2 years now, and have a lot of repeat clients I have built a trusting and great relationship with! I’ve looked after all kinds of pets ranging from dogs, cats, to even lizards! Personally, I’ve had pets ranging from dogs to guinea pigs to frogs since I was 4! I also have babysitting experience and do have experience working with horses as a stable hand. I can provide excellent service and care for up to 1-4 pets at a time. I am more than willing to do overnights and house sitting for however long you need! My duties can be whatever you need, just let me know. If your pet has any medical issues, please let me know beforehand! I have trained the dogs I’ve lived with lightly, and can help with enforcing positive behaviors, and trying to work with them on their bad habits (I’m not a professional, but I can certainly help and provide some useful tips and tricks)!
Reviews
Emma is always great, kind and caring for my cat. She’s thoughtful and I’d welcome her into my home any day knowing how good of care she provides.
Emma took a last-minute booking and was the perfect dog sitter! She was communicative and accommodating, and her dog Milo was a great buddy to our pup. We got a happy and sleepy dog back!
Emma was communicative and professional! She took great care of chilli dog while I was at a wedding, and he seemed to relax pretty quickly at her place.
Emma was very attentive and kept us informed of how everything was going. It was a great relief knowing our animals were well taken care of!

When first entering the home, I’m always sure to make sure they’re meeting me on neutral ground so they know I’m a friend! Calmness is key, and making sure to facilitate a calm and friendly environment is essential! Once in the home and comfortable, I make sure to accommodate the pet(s) needs and schedules as meeting new people can be scary and having familiarity with how the day is planned out can help ease some of the tension. Once comfortable, I make sure to give them lots of love and am sure to take them on daily walks to release any pent up energy! Playtime is also so important! I have 2 dogs of my own, Milo and Andy, and a cat named Lily! I am more than happy and willing to have the dogs meet beforehand when boarding! Lily is super shy and will not come out when there’s new people/any commotion happening. She’s super great with our dogs, she’s even best friends with my dog Milo! Milo is a very sweet and loving dog and has had no problem getting along with dogs I look after. He loves to play but will be respectful with dogs’ boundaries if they’re not up for playing. Andy has some past trauma due to being a shelter dog, but he mainly just does his own thing and won’t engage with other dogs much. I am more then willing to accommodate whatever you need in order for you to feel as secure and safe in trusting me with your pet(s)! NOTE: if you are unsure if your dog/cat is okay with cats/other cats (ex: dog has never interacted with a cat), I am more then willing to set up a meeting where your dog/cat can meet Lily, Milo and Andy! Both Milo and Andy had never met cats before (as far as I know) before we adopted Lily and they all get along really well! I’m always open to helping in anyway I can, so let me know if you’d like to do a meet up before a booking or just to see how your dog gets along with cats as Lily is pretty chill!

Information Emma B. would like to know about your pet
If they have a specific schedule/needs or medication they take, please let me know ahead of time so I can prepare! If they are handicapped or have special needs, please provide care instructions so I can ensure your pet is as comfortable as can be! The more you tell me, the more I can help!
A typical day
I always make sure to take them for at least one walk a day, though this can be adjusted to your pet’s schedule/needs! My house has a fenced yard so for boarding dogs can get some playtime and exercise out there! I always make sure to engage them in play throughout the day to release any pent up energy and for a fun time! Cuddles throughout the day are essential as well!

Availability
As a pet owner myself, I am definitely always prepared for the best or worst case scenarios. Pet care has almost always been a part of my daily routine, whether it be feeding times, walks, play time or cuddling up on the couch after releasing some energy! I can take up to 2-3 clients at a time (depending on the service).
