Pet care experience
I have worked with cats and dogs of different ages, breeds and with a variety of needs for over seven years. While you’re away, I focus on creating calming and loving experiences that alleviate any separation anxiety between you and your pet(s). Between regular communication and photos to you, as well as lots of snuggles, walks, brushes etc… of your animal, your time away will be more relaxing for you and your pet(s). Dogs with medication needs are common in my working experience.

Emma is kind, caring, and one of very few people I trust with my cat. She stops by our apartment daily to check in, sends updates and pictures, and makes sure our kitty gets plenty of snuggles. Emma also ensures that our escape-prone cat is always safe, and double-checked windows and doors when my anxiety got the better of me. She is also brave enough to play with my 15 pound mini-tiger, and I love knowing that he won't destroy our home while we're away. Emma is an amazing pet-sitter and if I have to leave my best friend at home, Emma is absolutely the person I want in charge.
Emma has taken care of my pets (2 cats) on multiple occasions and has always done a wonderful job. When I was new to the area, I was worried to leave my cats alone for too long, and even though it may have been overkill, Emma was still happy to spend the night at my house (extending her work commute by 20 minutes) and make sure my little fur gremlins got all the extra love and care they needed. I'm so thankful for her love and attention to detail when taking care of my pets.
Emma is such a wonderful person as a whole and is so kind and caring towards the animals that the interacts with. My cat is shy and typically scurries away when new people come to our home but when Emma walks in he trots right over to greet her. Emma always gives animals the best care that she can and is so nice to talk to as well.

I have a one bedroom apartment but access to a large outdoor walkable campus, as well as to local parks. I have conducted dog and cat sitting in my apartment which for social animals allows me to have trusted college students give additional attention and love to your pets if desired. I additionally watch watch pets in their own homes and have easy access to travel. I prefer to have a first meet up, where I take diligent notes and have interaction with your animal, that includes you, to help with the bonding process. Understanding and maintaining your pet’s routine is vital to a successful pet sitting experience. I make an effort to communicate and send images along regularly during your time away.

I work full time at a local university but have flexibility to make my own schedule and adapt for you and the needs of your pet(s). I also am pursuing my Masters degree part time.
