***NOTE TO CLIENTS: I WILL BE MOVING OUT OF STATE AT THE END OF MARCH*** I have cared for and been around dogs and cats of every size since I was a child. I am very passionate about proper animal care. I have been an overnight sitter for several friends and neighbors, and I have experience with dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, and fish tanks up to 125 gallons Currently my professional schedule is very open, so I have all the time to dote on my hamster and senior dog. I regularly clean and scape my hamster's cage, and take my dog on walks around our neighborhood. When in a clients home I try to be as undisruptive as possible. I focus on the pet needs entirely, instructions about the pet's normal routine are very helpful and I try to stick to them as close as I can. I love to send updates to clients about how their animals are doing to give them peace of mind when they are away.

Unfortunately this stay did not go well, we have 2 small senior dogs and the only requirement for them is that they have company and are let out frequently. This was agreed upon when we booked Emma, they couldn't be alone more than 4 hours a day. However, when we checked our doorbell camera we saw that she was gone 7+ hours a day. She didn't tell us she would be gone and sent pictures as if she was with them. If we didn't have the doorbell camera we wouldn't have known. After trying to work with her we checked the camera and saw that she was gone for hours again. We had to cancel with her in the middle of our vacation and find a friend to stay with them.
Emma was punctual, attentive, listened to my (overly) detailed explanation of my dog's habits, and did a very nice job. Would hire again :)
Emma did a fantastic job with our dogs and cats. We would definitely hire her again!
Emma was lovely! She offered to do a meet and greet before the walk so I could explain Molly’s quirks (although I forgot to mention her love of grass eating!). She arrived on time and was very communicative throughout.

A typical day
With dogs in my neighborhood I love to take them to Lincoln Park when I can, and if I know the dog well, many dogs enjoy time at the off leash dog park. I love playing tug of war with higher energy playful dogs, and for those who are older or on the slower side I love to give them plenty of pets.
