In am also an associate member of The Canadian Association for Professional Pet Dog Trainers (CAPPDT) and work in compliance with their strict code of ethics. In addition to dog related services please feel free to contact me about your other pet needs! I am a cat lady at heart and have experience with most reptiles/amphibians and small mammals. I am also open to invertebrates and arachnids, etc. No pet is to weird or too small! I also offer: basic grooming services (nail trimming, “ear and rear” trimming and brushing, ear cleaning), group walking, poop pickup Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns! POLICIES - PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING Messages received after 8:00pm may not be answered until the following day Regular drop off/pickup hours: 8:00am to 8:00pm (special accommodations MAY be made upon request) Please be aware that for the safety and well-being of all animals in my care, Meet and Greets are mandatory for ALL NEW CLIENTS. This is non-negotiable. Your booking request will be accepted (at my discretion) after the Meet and Greet. Meet and Greets take place in my home and generally take 10-30 minutes. I will provide you with a brief questionnaire about your vet info, pet behaviors and schedule, give you a tour of my home/yard, and of course give you an opportunity to ask me any questions you may have. During their stay, in the event that your dog becomes dangerously ill, is displaying signs of aggression or severe stress that put either themselves or any other animals at risk, you (or your emergency contact) will be required to pick them up as soon as possible. Please take a moment to make arrangements before your service dates. Please note that in the event of an emergency I will contact the owner before seeking immediate medical attention at the nearest available clinic. Owner will be expected to reimburse any medical costs. In the event that your pet causes significant damage to my home/property I may request compensation for said damages. If necessary I will provide photographs and/or in person evidence (i.e chewed baseboards/door frames, ripped upholstery, etc.) I will provide updates (text, photo, video) as requested. Detailed invoices are available upon request. Life is busy, I will always do my best to accommodate adjustments and cancellations. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before clients start date will be subject to a cancellation fee of 1/2 the booking rate (less than 24 hours for drop in services). FLEA POLICY All animals should be checked for fleas BEFORE the meet and greet (I often do a personal check myself) and again before their stay. If your animal has fleas, or has been treated for fleas in the 48 hours prior to the meet and greet (or booking date) I will NOT be able to provide care for them at that time). If your animal is in my care and I discover they are carrying fleas which you did not report I will require you (or your emergency contact) to pick up your animal immediately as well as pay an additional $50 cleaning fee. This is non-negotiable. An infestation costs both me, and my clients time and money in cleaning and flea treatments. In addition to the financial costs, a flea infestation puts multiple dogs (and their families) at risk, some of whom can develop severe health issues from being bitten. An incident will result in the cancellation of ALL CARE, FOR ALL CLIENTS being offered out of my home for at least two days. Please be considerate
