I do not work outside of home and have a very flexible schedule to attend to your pet. I will adhere to the schedule you set in place for your beloved pet (as I understand the importance of routine).

I love walking pets; however, I will respect your wishes and schedule currently set in place. Upon arrival to your home, I will do a visual area sweep for anything out of the ordinary. If I see anything odd or concerning, I will notify you immediately. When I am finished, I will check the doors and/or crate to make sure all is secure. On occasion if I need to take your pet with me, I live on an acre and my yard is fully fenced (with another “small-dog proof” area separately fenced too. Plenty of room to roam.

Please let me know if your pet has special needs or routines and I will honor them. Also any quirks your pet might have. Anything else I need to know to feel them safe and comfortable.
A typical day
I will guide your pet’s walk, while letting them smell all the neighborhood’s new smells and let them explore a bit. If it’s a high energy dog, I will run/brisk walk, play catch, or other fast paced activities with them to help get the energy out. I will “listen” to your pet’s needs.

Pet care experience
Ever since I can remember, I was surrounded by animals. My grandma had a farm and I was taught how to care for all animals - from chickens and cows to dogs and cats. This instilled love and understanding for our furry friends. When I got married, I became a step mom to the sweetest red bone hound - Buddy. He was our baby for 16 years. When he went to heaven, it took us several years of grieving to get another dog. I completely understand how pets become family! Currently we have a large family that includes a German Shepard, a turquoise conure, and a Western bandit gecko (the kids found him freezing outside, so now he is our family member). I raised 5 kids and several pets throughout my life, so my strength is nurturing and loving those around me.

Emma is the best.She broke her toe and still came and walked my dogs. She had concerns about my elderly dog and even offered to take him to the vet!
