**please note I will be moving to Seattle mid September for classes at UW, making my availability on the Kitsap peninsula limited Hi! I’m a 24 year old graduate student ready to care for your pets! I grew up with multiple dogs in the household, and I was always the one who trained them and taught them tricks. With two rescue dogs of my own now, my experience with training and managing difficult behaviors has increased. I thoroughly enjoy researching the best techniques and ethical practices for handling dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and personalities! Additionally, I’ve been volunteered at a shelters where I’ve learned a lot about how to handle dogs and approach any behavioral issues that come up. While my passion for animals started with loving my pets, I’ve come to realize that advocating for animals is what I really want to do in life. I’m currently a vegan and studied animal cognition while in college. The welfare of all animals is dearly important to me, and I hope to get to know every dog (or cat!) I meet personally, what they like and don’t like, their needs, and how to ensure they have the very best experience while in my care!
