Pet care experience
Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I grew up with Great Danes so I feel very confident handling dogs of any size. I have experience working in a doggy daycare, boarding and grooming center & I’ve been pet sitting for a few years now. I find it very rewarding to make connections with fur babies and fellow animal enthusiasts. I’m happy to help you out in any way I can!

For several years Emma has worked with my Shetland Sheepdog, Arthur. I came to first know Emma when she worked for a Dog Daycare facility in Northern Rhode Island. After I moved to Southern R.I and switched to a different Dog Daycare location, I started employing Emma for multiple pet services for Arthur. Emma is a dog owner herself and works with dogs full-time with her career in pet-care, and it shows with the care and knowledge of how she interacts with, takes care of, and trains Arthur. Emma is always on-time, eager to work, flexible with her schedule and easy to communicate with a well. She has provided services for Arthur ranging from simple walks, multi-hour aerobic 1:1 dog daycare sessions, and I trust Emma to stay in my home for week-long stretches to take care of Arthur when my wife and I are out of town. I am happy to answer more specific questions directly about Emma, our family is lucky to have her a part of Arthur's life.

I am willing to chat with you and figure out a schedule that makes you comfortable! In the past my clients have given me a spare key or a code to allow entry into their home so that I can care for their pets. Whether that be grabbing a harness/leash and going for a walk, stopping by to let them outside for a potty break or a feeding or to spend a few nights keeping their animals company and looking after them while their parents are out of town. I’m open to anything and very adaptable.

Please let me know if there are any specific dietary restrictions (or preferred treats) that your animal may require! I always keep training treats on me for positive reinforcement of good behavior. That being said, if there are any concerns that you would like me to work on with your pet in regard to training, I am confident that I will be able to work with you to establish your desired results.
A typical day
I love getting to explore new neighborhoods and take in the sights, while getting the share that with a pet and learn about their personalities. I have years of experience working at a doggy daycare so I am well equipped to supervise play in groups as well. You can feel safe with your dog under my supervision if you’d like them to get some exercise at a local dog park!

Availability
My current situation allows me to be very flexible with my hours. I am part time college student, presently taking only 3 courses. A couple hours of my days Tuesday-Thursday are spent in class. Other than that and a few waitressing shifts on the weekends, my schedule is open and ready to be booked!
