love fur babies & work in vet field

Pet care experience

I began dog and cat sitting for neighbors when I was 9 years old. Growing up in a dog-loving family, it was always my responsibility to feed and let our dogs out. While in college, I rescued my own four legged baby, and we relocated to Charleston two years ago. I work for a veterinary hospital, and my experiences there have increased my knowledge and understanding of animals, their needs, and how to cater to them. It is the most fulfilling job I have ever had, and I am learning so much! I know how important my pup is to me, and I can promise you that I'll treat your fur babies as if they were my own. I'm excited to meet and love on your dogs! :)

I have known Emily for 7 years and she has always been very compassionate about animals. She has always taken care of my baby Luna like she is her own. Emily also has a lot of experience handling animals from her work in a vet's office. You and your pets will love her! :)

I can't say enough good things about Emily's care of my dog Brock before he passed. When I rescued Brock from the shelter he was very timid and skiddish around people due to an assumed history of abuse and abandonment. Emily was very respectful of this when she came to meet him for the first time and let him warm up to her at his own pace. It didn't take long before he was running to the door, toy in mouth, to greet her, ready to play. She took great care of him while I traveled for work and would even drop by to bring him gifts and treats at belly rubs when I wasn't traveling. It's clear she has a big heart for the pets she works with. After Brock passed, I received the kindest note from Emily. I haven't been able to bring myself to get a new dog just yet, but when I do, Emily will be my first call.
