Hi, I'm Emily! I'm new to the Albany area after living in Washington, DC for seven years. I was previously a full-time pet caretaker, but now generally take care of your fur babies on evenings and weekends. I just couldn't bring myself to give up all of the kitty cuddles, puppy kisses, etc. when transitioning back to a full-time job.

A last minute request and Emily was responsive and flexible! Really saved our weekend plans! She gives multiples updates with his walks and pictures showing him having a great stay. Can’t recommend Emily enough!
Emily was so great watching our pup Jax! We got multiple updates with pictures daily about his walks, playtime and all the cuddles. Highly recommend, Jax can’t wait for his next sleepover!
Emily was great with MidKnight! She kept me informed and even sent photos while he was with her. Emily took great care of Jim and you can tell she really cares.

I have owned dogs for 20+ years and have taken care of pets for friends and family - ranging from small to large dogs to cats to exotic mammals and birds. I've also pet/house-sat for those going out of town for multiple days. As a former manager, I value responsibility, reliability, transparency, and hard work. I have experience with multiple breeds and sizes of dogs and cats, but if there is anything important I should know about your pet please share it with me. For example: Does your pup get easily spooked by cars, bikes, trucks, loud noises, kids, etc.? Does your cat have a favorite hiding spot? Does your pup not do well near other dogs? Does your pup have a history of aggression towards humans or other animals?
A typical day
Your dog & I will vary our route depending on the day, unless you have a predetermined route you would like us to follow. If not, we'll go wherever the wind blows us!

Availability
I work full-time and am out of the house for roughly 9.5 hours a day, Monday-Friday. I’m free on the weekends, although I won’t be there 24 hours a day. But I will be sure to be with your fur baby for all feedings, walks, and overnights. Feel free to message me for more specifics!
