I’ve had dogs my entire life. I’ve been dog/cat-sitting since I was 12 years old when I made my own flyers and put them in every mailbox in my neighborhood, after which I gained several long-term clients. Recently helped my best friend raise a kitten. I am now raising one myself. - experience in administering medication - experience in bathing/brushing - experience in walking/hiking in cities, suburban, rural, offleash, on-leash, with multiple dogs - experience with behavioral trouble including aggression towards cars/other dogs on walks, barking, etc. - exceptional public park etiquette (picking up poop and putting it in the correct location) - will keep your home tidy ( I like to go the extra mile and do housecleaning as well as gardening/houseplant tasks) - I’ll treat your pets like people! (We’ll cultivate a positive, healthy relationship) :)

Emily hands down blew away our expectations. She is kind, prompt, and professional. Our dogs and house were cleaner than we left it. Our pets were happy and safe while we were away and we didn’t have to worry at all. I would recommend Emily for all your pet sitting needs!! She’s amazing!
Emily was great. She sat for 8 days for 2 dogs that were a handful. One stressed dog had toileting accidents 3 times that required much clean up. She went above and beyond I think when she took all clean up towels to the laundromat! She did daily walks and even asked to take 1 dog to the dog park a few times. Her communication style was prompt, clear with no drama when there was a problem. She was wonderful with the dogs, very patient and understanding. After a tough few days for the 1 dog they both settled in really well. I came home to very happy dogs and a super clean home. In addition she managed to handle all the quirks of an older home. I would highly recommend!
This was my first time booking Emily, and I highly recommend her! She house sat with my two dogs (including a puppy) and a cat, so she had her hands full and she took such great care of them! My house was cleaner than I left it, which was a major bonus and she left me a cute status note when I came home. She was very responsive and communicative while I was gone. This was my first time using Rover for house sitting and I was a little nervous as the dogs can be a bit energetic, but she totally put me at ease and I will definitely rebook with her in the future.
We hired Emily at the recommendation of a friend who had used her services. We were completely happy with her housesitting and care for our dog while we were out of the country for 3 weeks. She kept us informed when our dog had an upset stomach, spoke to the vet, updated us throughout, and took great care of her. I was impressed with the decisions she made in advance of the talking to the vet. She really knows her stuff. We came home to a clean and tidy house, as well. She will be our first go-to when hiring again.

I love absolutely every breed and every size. I’d like to know about any allergies, medications, exercise level restraints, bathroom rules, social preferences (with other people and other dogs), preferred treats, diet restrictions, and special commands to administer to keep behavior in line with the “norm” when you are home.
A typical day
I love hiking and more rural areas. For bigger dogs, if they’re able, I’ll choose a moderate hike on a trail if there’s one nearby. I also have great experience with neighborhood street walking and sidewalk walking for all sizes of dogs. If your dogs are into it, I’ll take them to the dog park or other public area where they can be offleash and explore (if they’re comfortable doing that, of course).

My schedule is always super flexible since I am a freelance contractor. I have loads of time to spend with your pets, and will never be gone for more than a couple hours at a time.
