Pet care experience
I’ve had a lifelong affinity for dogs and am so grateful I had the opportunity to grow up around dogs. I had a maltipoo growing up and also dog sat for family and friends spanning the spectrum from petite Maltese to German shepherds. I continue to dog sit whenever I can and have also walked dogs on Wag. I love to teach dogs tricks and uncovering individual motivators whether it’s food, toys, environmental stimuli; or something else. I also have a 1.5 year old dachshund puppy, Winston, of my own so I’m well versed in puppy care, socialization techniques, and training methods. I’d be so grateful to care for your pup and treat them as one of my own. Plus, Winston would love a friend 😊

I prioritize the comfort and safety of your dog above anything else! We have plenty of toys, small dog beds, and a crate if you ever need one. Of course, if your dog prefers their own, feel free to bring it and we’ll make them feel just at home. Our dog, Winston is also crate trained so integrating any crating routine will be a breeze! Winston also has a fair share of enrichment toys spanning from puzzles to dog toys we can freeze with food or treats that we’d be more than happy to share. When it’s time for adventuring outdoors, we keep all dogs on leash at all times to ensure their safety. I’ve unfortunately had dog sitters in the past lose Winston and I wouldn’t wish that experience upon anybody! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities!

A typical day
We have countless enrichment toys from puzzles to frozen toys. We also have snuffle mats and take long walks to allow dogs to smell the surrounding environment! If your dogs like TV, no problem, we can have impromptu movie nights whenever!

I work fully remote so pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly schedule. I’m home to keep my dog and your dog entertained! In addition, my partner is also fully remote so there’s another set of hands to help play, feed, and take the dogs on walks. The neighborhood also has plenty of space for walks with sidewalks and lush green grassy areas for playtime. If your dog isn’t the social type, no worries, because there’s so much space in the neighborhood it’s easy to distance from others to keep things chill. Taking care of dogs is a natural part of my routine whether it’s play time or just keeping them company inside. Your dog will get the attention they deserve!
