Pet care experience
I love animals! Since moving away from home I have missed my 3 little dogs dearly, but I’m so excited to get to know yours. My family gave me a puppy when I was 4 years old and I’ve been hooked on caring for animals ever since. I’ve since looked after dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, mice, and even rehabbed some ducks and squirrels throughout the years. I love bonding with animals and getting to know their individual personalities since each one is so unique! I graduated from college December 2020 and am now enrolled in a graduate program with a part time job which means I might be gone for up to 7 hours, but no longer than that. Any time around that will be spent loving on your animals. I also love to walk and play so I will need your recommendations for best/safest areas in your neighborhood or if you have a backyard, I never get tired of playing! All of my services include me coming to you so no stress on your part. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Emily! She came to stay at our house with our massive and needy golden retriever and he couldn't have been more well taken care of. She was communicative, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make sure our pup was happy, entertained, and exercised each day. Highly recommend hiring Emily if you need a great sitter!

I only take care of animals in the client’s home and I am extremely professional when it comes to any specific details for the job. I have my own list of questions that I ask every client upon meeting them and I meticulously take notes on how the house is taken care of as well as their pet. I also send pictures and updates as often as the client would like- but usually twice a day.

Please let me know if your pet has any known allergies or dietary restrictions. Please tell me about any behavioral issues I might need to be on the lookout for like chewing furniture, trying to slip out of collars/leashes, etc. I also need to know if your pet is social or if they need to be kept away from other animals/people. I have no breed preferences, I love all animals!
A typical day
One of my favorite places to walk is Girard Park by the UL campus. It’s beautiful and lengthy without being long enough to tire your pet out. I would also enjoy playing fetch, tug-of-war, & working on any training skills your pet already has. Showering your pet with love and attention goes without saying.

Availability
I have classes until noon Monday-Thursday and then I come back to the house to feed/walk/let the animals potty before heading to a shift if I’m scheduled that day. Any spare time will be spent at your house and taking care of your babies!
