Pet care experience
I LOVE dogs. I have owned and taken care of dogs my entire life, have volunteered in animal shelters training and socializing dogs, and am constantly befriending dogs I meet on the streets every day. I believe all dogs are wonderful, and make it a priority to give them back the same positive and happy energy they give out to the world. In my life, I have taken care of big dogs, small dogs, young dogs, old dogs, healthy dogs, sick dogs, calm dogs, high-energy dogs, and everything in between. Additionally, I have a good knowledge of breeds and an appreciation for how they come together in mixed-breed dogs. I deeply believe all dogs deserve the absolute best care and am happy to give it to them!

The first time our dog met Emily, she jumped up to hug her and proceeded to sit on her lap for the rest of the time they were together. It's safe to say that Emily speaks a dog's language, and the comfort that our dog felt was as if Emily was already part of the family. Emily is responsible, patient and kind, and we trust her with our pup 100%!

I've never met a person more in tune with animals. Emily has cared for our dogs and cat on multiple occasions- and I truly think they love her more than me! I have no breed preferences, but know that some dogs can have feelings about certain things in the world. I would appreciate knowing anything that makes the dog anxious or stressed, and ways the owners prefer to deal with these feelings. Also, I'd like to know if there are any habits the owners are trying to break or build so that I can be consistent when I'm spending time with a dog.
A typical day
I will take dogs all around the neighborhood! I especially love walking through parks and going to the dog park. I will also play with dogs in whatever way they need/enjoy--whether that be tug-of-war, fetch, learning a new trick, or anything else a dog likes to do! And I'll always end an exercise session with some good pets behind the ear and belly rubs.
