Pet care experience
Hey I’m Emily & I’m 24 years and I’ve been working at a dog daycare for 4 years. I’ve recently started teaching puppy classes and basic obedience classes as well! I love working with dogs and would love to be able to work with them on my days off as well. I have a lot of experience with caring for dogs and I have a good understanding on reading their behaviors and knowing what they might want or need. I’m very patient with all dogs and don’t get stressed out easily if they have special needs or need extra management and attention. Working with dogs is what I truly love doing and I always treat every dog I meet with the same love and care that I give to my own!

I often walk dogs from my work and take extra measures like using a double leash and wrapping the leash around my wrist so even if the dog is pulling hard, there’s no way I’ll lose grip of the leash!

A typical day
With high energy dogs, I love to try to get out as much energy from them as I can! I like to play games with them and run during our walks if that’s what they want to do! Of course if it’s an older or special needs dog, I’m also very patient and will let them take their time and sniff as long as their hearts desire! My dog is 15 years old and going blind so I’ve learned to take my time.
