hello! big dog lover of all shapes and sizes.

Pet care experience

Please note! I am not always available monday-friday, I have to work around my work hours, so on those days I may only be able to do mornings or evenings for walks and drop ins, please message me for more info. I have always had dogs in my home, from puppies up to seniors. I have always owned active working breeds such as Labradors, Cocker spaniels and most recently Sprocker spaniels. Although not specialised, I enjoy partaking in obedience training with puppies and any who need the extra help! Always up for a long walk and know lots of good places in the area to go, whether it be the seaside, country fields, or forests. I am fully trained in emergency first aid (for humans) but have recently started to dabble in the doggy side just in case.

Safety, trust & environment

My home comes equipped with a large fenced and gated garden, with lots of areas to explore, such as our paddock (that previously kept donkeys) out the back, and lots of flower beds and bushes. I own two spaniels, one senior 13 year old golden cocker spaniel, and a very high energy 1 year old springer and working cocker cross, whose names are Daisy and Willow respectively. Willow is the most friendly pup, and will try to smother and play with anything that moves. She is keen to teach her scent work tricks to those who might enjoy it! Daisy on the other hand, has become grumpy in her old age, but still enjoys long walks and lots of swimming. They are both very active and healthy dogs who would enjoy a playmate anytime. I have previously dog sat and walked friends and neighbours dogs, including their new Black labrador puppy and older yellow Lab, and also for two rescue Jack Russels.

Information Emily W. would like to know about your pet

let me know if your dog needs any extra help with things, i.e. if they’re a senior or a puppy, or if they have any special needs or health conditions. I have looked after others dogs before that needed a bit of extra help, one with a brain tumour who is prone to seizures and needs to take things slow with a bit of a helping hand, and also a very reactive and nervous labrador who needs a lot of help on walks and with socialising with other dogs. please let me know about any of this beforehand, so i’ll be able to plan the day and what to bring and prepare.

A typical day

Aside from playing with toys and tennis balls, my favourite activity is definitely long walks in the forest. I know lots of places to explore in suffolk, and would be happy to go on some excursions with your pup, accompanied by my two as well. Forests are a brilliant place to explore new sights and smells, off lead or on, whatever your preferences are. I normally bring lots of treats for training on lead during the walk as well, and your pooch, if you wish, would be kept on a long lead to ensure no running off if recall isn’t perfected yet. That i also enjoy working on, using toys and treats whilst on the long lead to teach on lead obedience and recall. At home, when we’re not relaxing, your pup would be kept thoroughly entertained with whatever their favourite play toy is, and of course i would be happy to do basic training commands as well.
