Pet care experience
I worked at an animal hospital as a veterinary assistant all through high school and college. After college I worked as a veterinary technician and also did pet/house sitting on the side. I am able to administer medication (including injectable) and take note of any signs of illness or injury. I have many years of experience working with dogs and cats of all ages as well as all sizes. I have fostered and bottle fed 12 kittens, and cared for all of my pets including senior accommodations as needed. I have experience with basic obedience training and can continue your efforts (only positive reinforcement).

Emily took wonderful care of my new kitty while I was away. It was hard to leave him but helped knowing she was coming to play, feed, snuggle, and care for him. She sent some adorable pictures and I can tell my kitty loved her and relished her company, purring away on her lap. I would have her come again in the future. Thank you Emily!
Emily did a great job taking care of my cat Charlie! She was very communicative and friendly, and did amazing giving him his injections!
We have used Emily several times now and things have worked out great. Emily’s availability has worked well for us. Hattie seems happy when we get home and we love getting a picture or two. Our dog isn’t a good leash walker so Emily takes her out in the yard and gets her to run around a bit. We are very happy to have found Emily on Rover.
We had our meet and greet with Emily and we feel comfortable that she will take great care our Hattie when we need.

I have many years of house/pet sitting experience and I do not take the invitation into someone’s home lightly. I am adamant about ensuring the doors are closed to minimize escapes, and am fully versed in harnesses and crates. I know what level of trust it takes to allow someone else to care for your animals, and I take that responsibility very seriously.

A typical day
The best day for your dog is one that lets them be a dog! Running, walking, sniffing, playing, and snuggling! The same goes for cats, with time to play as well as get some pets and snugs in.
