Emily’s Help at Hand
Hello! Thank you for looking up my profile. My husband and I moved to Evesham 4 years ago from Surrey. It is where my husband grew up but I was a relative newcomer. We have two daughters, both living in London - one whom has just given us our first grandchild - three cats and a huge Newfoundland. I have had pets all my life. My younger daughter signed me up as a cat sitter because she thought I would learn more about the area and meet interesting people - and she was right! I think people who love their cats are wonderful - and I love the opportunity to put their minds at ease and let them go away without worry. Becoming a cat sitter has been such a brilliant decision. I've met wonderful people and, equally important, wonderful cats of all shapes and sizes - the indoor cats, the outdoor cats, the nervous, the elderly, the very young...it's been a privilege. I never forget what a special level of trust owners invest in me. I have a car and I'm absolutely reliable. I have been DBS-checked and can share a copy of this if required.

Safety, trust & environment
I can feed cats, ensure clean water, give medications if necessary and will always keep you updated with photos and little films. I aim to get to know them and, importantly, gain their trust.

We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter for our lovely Snowy. We know how hard it can be to leave your pets behind when you go away, but Emily gave us complete peace of mind from the very beginning. The first video update she sent us reassured us that Snowy was happy, settled and in very good hands. Emily took such good care of Snowy and we came home to a very happy cat, which says it all! We contacted Emily after a mix up of dates with our regular overnight cat / house sitter. She kindly offered to visit our 3 elderly boys at short notice. Emily is amazing, she came to visit us for an introduction, she was very friendly and is clearly an animal lover. Our boys who can be quite shy around new people, came to great her straight away. She instantly put us at ease about leaving them with someone new. Emily did 2 visits for us (evening and morning) at normal feed times. She sent us lots of pictures and video footage, which was great. I'm so glad we found Emily and would recommend her to others, we will definitely use her again in the future. After recently moving to the area and needing a cat sitter we met Emily and immediately felt very comfortable leaving our 2 shy cats in her care. Great communication and we will definitely be requesting Emily’s services again.
Emily was so kind and helpful with my cat, I was at absolute ease knowing she was visiting every day. I will contact her again for any other holidays!

Schedule
I have just retired so my time is my own. I can visit owner’s homes at a time to suit (usually morning and/or afternoon).
- CatsEmily can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- I will always come and meet new owners to be shown what, how and where they need me to feed their cats and to find out about any medication. Most importantly, I like to meet the cats themselves so they will at least recognise my scent when I go in to feed them.
