Pet care experience
I LOVE caring for pets. For over ten years I've been entrusted to watch over animals of all shapes and sizes for family, friends and coworkers. I pride myself in attentive, compassionate care. As a dog owner myself, I know just how important it is to know that your best friend is in good hands. As my family has rescued most of our pets, my experience includes providing care for dogs special behavioral considerations, dietary concerns and physical limitations. In addition to being a fun-loving, playful caretaker, I'm meticulous about details and will follow any and all special instructions to a T. Ultimately, the joy of my service comes from ensuring the health, comfort and happiness of animals while their owners are away. Let's meet!

Emily was AMAZING! I highly recommend booking her. We were new to Iowa City and did not know anyone to look over our animals. We were a bit nervous to find someone on Rover, but Emily worked out so well. Our animals loved Emily. She came over to our apartment a few days before we left on vacation to meet our animals and take our dog on a practice walk. She was so friendly and nice. She was great on sending pictures and updating us while we were away and was quick to respond to all of my messages. She even left our apartment cleaner than when we left and cleaned all the sheets and remade our bed. She was great!
Emily is a delightful and responsible young woman. We have had her house sit for us many times for the past 3 years. We have 4 cats and a large dog. All have been well taken care of by Emily. We also have a pool, and she has helped with basic care of that when we have traveled in the summmer months.

A typical day
Iowa City has wonderful recreational areas to walk and explore all the smells! As far as games go, I'm an excellent player of "keep away" "tug-o-war" and "fetch" to name a few. My dog, Simba, says that I'm the best ear scratcher in the midwest. Cuddles and belly rubs freely given.
