My family has always had dogs of all sizes since I was in elementary school. I currently have my 14lb chihuahua mix named Chalupa that lives at home with me. She gets walked at least twice a day, and has 2 cozy couches to nap on when she’s not zooming around the apartment. She gets along great with dogs of all breeds and sizes and loves to play. I’m fairly strong and athletic so dogs of any size are welcome. If you have a tugger please provide the right walking harnesses/leashes! All of my family dogs (4 total) have been adopted from shelters at under 16 weeks and finished potty training within 9 months. I’ve also seen two of my dogs live out to their senior years, so dogs of all ages are welcome here. I have a large window above my couch that your dog can stare out of all day and enjoy the fresh air or find entertainment people watching. There is also a dog park within half a mile of my home.

First time boarding with Emily and definitely won’t be the first. Very easy to work with and my dog got along with chalupa. All instructions were met during yuki’s stay. Definitely will book her again !

A typical day
Morning walks in the neighborhood are followed by breakfast and then free or nap time. In the evenings or if I have a free afternoon, the dogs and I will go on a long stroll so I can get my 10,000 steps in and the dogs can get the zoomies out.

Availability
I have a hybrid work from home schedule, so during the weekdays I am out for max 6 hours at a time. On weekends, I don’t leave the house for really more than 4 hours at a time.
