Pet care experience
I've been pet sitting since I was 16 and have loved every second of it. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, and even ducks, chickens, and goats! I will make sure that your pet gets as much love, care, and attention as they need while you are away.

Emily V. cancelled a booking 3 days before it was scheduled to begin.
We have rescue Frenchies with behavioral & medical hinderances, and lots of separation anxiety. So this year we could no longer leave them with family. Instead we needed a home sitter this year in order to take a vacation, which is brand new to us. I think Emily did a wonderful job at trying to understand all the quarks & issues for these two… and my own in trying to communicate it all too, which can be complicated. They require a lot of patience for sure. Emily was also very nice to run the dishwasher & a load of laundry & tidy up for us, which was appreciated very much.

Let me know if you have any medication needs and/or special ways to care for your pet. I have had many elderly dogs and cats in my care and am very comfortable with giving medication via oral, rectal insertion, or injection. However, I do like to know ahead of time if this is required for your pet.
A typical day
If your pet is able to have sweets, I love to take them for Pup Cups at ice cream or coffee shops if they do a really good job! I also constantly have treats in my pockets to make sure they know how much I care about them. I also like to take dogs out on walks near their homes, as well as the nature trails that surround it. I'm always looking for new places to explore with them and would love to hear if you have any places you like to take your pets!
