Couple Looking to Love On Your Dog!
Pet care experience
Hello! My boyfriend Tim and I (Emily) are working professionals in our late 30s/early 40s looking to care for small to medium sized dogs that we can spoil and love on as we both work from home in Alexandria, VA. We have a fully fenced-in yard, single-level home (with no stairs!), and a flat neighborhood with sidewalks that are great for dog walking! We have no kids and Sophie, a 1-year old mini goldendoodle (Blue Merle color) that weighs about 30 pounds and is good with other dogs. We are animal lovers. I have included pictures of us, Sophie, our house, and our yard. I have also included pictures of our friend's 2-year old ShihPoo named Salsa that we often watch at our place. We love both Sophie and Salsa to pieces! I also previously adopted and cared for a small senior doggie with several medical issues for 10 years before she sadly passed away. Ivan was well cared for, ands loved like he was their own. Lots of pictures and videos throughout his stay meant we always knew how he was doing.
Emily and Timothy were absolutely wonderful in taking care of Jampa and helping her to feel comfortable and happy. They checked with me when they were concerned about anything and sent me oodles of pictures and videos to shoe me that they were keeping her satisfied all day and before bed. I will definitely be using them when i need to go away. I know that my baby is safe and happy with them and that means everything to me!
Emily and Tim go above and beyond to care for and love our dog. They are amazing communicators. I never felt relaxed vacationing without my dog until I left her with Emily and Tim.
Emily & Timothy took great care of our older dog, giving her walks and making her feel at home. We were away for a long trip and it was wonderful to get their frequent updates and see the level of care they offered her. I would highly recommend them!

**WE ONLY WATCH 1 DOG AT A TIME (in addition to our Sophie), BUT WE WILL CONSIDER WATCHING 2 DOGS FROM THE SAME FAMILY OR FAMILY FRIENDS ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS** And we will treat your pup(s) as if they were our own. Also, even though Sophie is still a puppy and loves to play, she is a low to medium energy dog (sometimes with spurts of high energy!). We have found that Sophie does best and is most comfortable with other dogs that have similar energy levels (i.e., not super high energy dogs or dogs that want to play constantly). PLEASE NOTE: Tim does the dog walking as I (Emily) have mobility issues and get around using my cane. I can also easily open the back door and go outside to watch your dog(s) in our fenced-in yard. I also love playing with pups both indoors and outside!

A typical day
We'd love to play and cuddle with your dog! We are vetted by the dogs in our life at playing tug, fetch, and receiving doggie kisses :) We will also explore the neighborhood, which has a small park we can visit!

Tim and I (Emily) both work from home full time and have work schedules that allow us to take breaks for dog walks, cuddles, indoor play time, and playing with your fur-baby supervised in our fenced-in yard! After work we mostly stay home with the occasional outing and have lots of time, attention, and love to give your pup! This is literally a dream job for us =D
